Expo 2020 Dubai 4th Thematic Week
Expo 2020 Dubai brings together participants and visitors from all over the world with a six-month innovative social and cultural development display. With the fourth thematic week – Tolerance and Inclusivity around the corner, Dubai World Expo sends a message of peace and tolerance from the UAE to the world as a whole, said Dr Matar Hamed Al Niyadi, UAE Ambassador to Kuwait.
Dr Al Niyadi, in an interview with Emirates News Agency (WAM), remarked on the UAE’s ability to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and relevant obstacles with solidarity with contributions of more than 2,200 tons of medical aid to 135 nations.
Over 3,000 government officials, peace activists, diplomats, ambassadors, and academics from more than 100 nations will gather in Dubai for a major conference to spread a crucial message of tolerance and harmony around the world.

Dubai Holds the Second World Tolerance Summit Following Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
As part of the thematic week, Dubai will host the second World Tolerance Summit, acting as the cornerstone of the UAE’s Year of Tolerance. The two-day World Tolerance Summit, which begins on Wednesday, will focus on egalitarianism, sustainability, community cohesion, youth and disability-related solutions. It will provide an international platform for key decision-makers from the UAE and beyond to create policies on critical global issues.
Many senior officials and dignitaries from around the world will attend the event. Among them will be Mara Cristina Gabrielli, Brazil’s federal senator, Dr. Lucy Janet Bermudez, Colombia’s President of the State Council, Rustem Nurgalevich Menekhanov, and President of the Republic of Tatarstan, a crucial constituent of the Russian Federation.
In addition, Dr. Hamad Al Shaibani, managing director of the International Institute for Tolerance and Chairman of the summit’s Higher Organising Committee of the Summit, stated that: “The summit will provide a unique opportunity for government leaders, peace experts, and academics to meet and discuss ways to promote tolerance in multiculturalism, as well as how to address the challenges it faces and instil a culture of dialogue through all available means to support international efforts for world peace and stability.”
Al Shaibani said that the summit is an essential platform for discussing and forming cohesive ideas to foster societies’ protection, especially for young people. He further stressed the importance of family and educational systems in promoting peaceful coexistence. The event will cover:
